While living in Tampa, Florida, I was inspired by the symbolism of pineapples. Hospitality, welcome, warmth, peaceful home - just to name a few!
 
My series of pineapples allowed me to paint all of my favorite elements in one piece; lines, shape, marks, color, and texture.
