Book Progress and A Painted House A Day...

Hi! Yes, it's been a while since I have updated you on my book progress.

Lots of good things happening and not enough time.

Before I forget, I wanted to let you know, in case you were expecting more from this blog:) I am only using this tool as a way to keep you updated with my book progress and to give you a few sneak peeks which will hopefully entice you to see more!

Every so often I might throw out a little extra...but you won't see anything too deep here. But I promise you, that the book will tell more of my story...

My latest work towards my book completion has been the tedious task of resizing over 200 images of my art and travel photographs so that they will print with the best resolution, which I have learned is 8.5 width and 300 dpi. At one point I was almost finished and my PDF file became corrupted and I had to re start from photo one and since this, I have learned a lot and now feel a sense of urgency to get the book completed, but there are still a lot more steps to take.

My goal is to be able to send out my document, to my editor/formatter within the next couple of weeks. I will try to keep you updated on this progress!

In the mean time - I thought I'd share a sneak peek of one of the pages from my book. If you have been following my art journey you may remember - "A Painted House A Day" - 183 days of painting and my blog https://wwwapaintedhouseaday.blogspot.com (which isn't active but you can still read it:)

“Growing up I had two houses I called ‘home.’ As an adult and with a family of my own, I have had many houses to make a home. My husband is Active Duty Army and we move often. Although a move comes with work and saying goodbyes,

we embrace each move and look forward to our new adventures, people to meet, and places to explore. Houses are houses. A home is for a family to create

Fort Moore (Formerly known as Fort Benning) House

safety, love, and memories. As I make each move with my two daughters and husband, I find that our locations change, but our home remains the same.”

Thank you for stopping by! Please check back for more updates.
